Rowena

Your host Rowena is passionate about the environment she lives in and is delighted to share it with others.

Rowena has lived on this land for over 35 years and has a real affinity with the bush she knows so well. She is studying Rongoa Maori (Maori medicine) so she can utilize the plants around her.

Maggie the New Zealand Huntaway dog is always on hand to greet visitors, somewhat loudly at times but that is just to let it be known that a visitor has arrived.
